Terms of Sale


 Thank you for making your purchase with LPC computers.  We have listed some policies and guidelines below in an effort to maximize the efficiency of our customer service.

All merchandise returned for credit or exchange must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and must include all packaging materials, catalogues, manuals, accessory items, and must be in original condition as sold. No visible physical damages. (E.g. Burnt parts, scratches on CD, manuals not folded or written on). A 15% restocking fee will apply if the factory seal has been broken or installed on a system. Sales of CPUs, cables and accessories are final, no refund; exchange only.

We DO NOT guarantee against incompatibility on hardware or software as well as general “dissatisfaction”.  It is the customer’s responsibility to verify, prior to purchase, that the merchandise is the correct hardware version, system type, and model.  It is at the discretion of LPC to allow an exchange or refund.

All individually purchased items, including electronic components, must be removed from the customers system, as originally purchased, and tested. If parts are in the system and brought into LPC, there will be a $45 charge for the replacement/installation of the products.  Please do not bring your system in for repair without a pre-authorized RMA (return material authorization).

There is a 180 day limited warranty on parts.  All printers, monitors and boxed components are under manufacturer warranty only.  No refunds or exchange on opened color kit cartridges.  No refund on opened retail boxed items.  Bare bone systems are warranted as parts.

One (1) year parts and one (1) years Labor limited warranty for complete system except for CPU’s.  Customers system must be brought in for service or repair.  Complete system warranty on hardware only.  No warranty on software if customer needs LPC to repair or re-load.  There is a $40 reinstallation charge for purchased software.

If a purchased item is returned within 48 hours LPC will give customers full refund on cash purchases, with original receipt, in the form of a check.  There will be no cash refunds, even if the item is purchased with cash.  A refund check for check or credit transactions will be issued only after verification of processed funds.  This may take 7 to 10 business days.  No refund for special order parts, systems, labor and system deposit.

Within 30 days LPC may buy back a complete system, only in original condition, at the current price minus a 15% restocking fee.  AFTER 30 days NO refunds will be given on any complete systems and repairs.  LPC is not responsible for any repairs or upgrades on old systems, software or hardware damage caused by system failure.  PLEASE BACKUP YOUR DATA.  A 6-month warranty on hardware only.

There will be a $30 charge plus any collection fees for any returned checks.  This includes all NSF and stop payments.  Customer agrees to pay such attorney’s fees and costs as are actually incurred for the collection of this amount whether or not suit is instituted.

Please bring your invoice or receipts upon service.

SOFTWARE:
Due to copyright laws, software is not returnable once the exterior wrap and/or operating disk seal and packaging is opened.

CPU & MEMORY MODULES:
30 days warranty for CPU and 6-months warranty for Memory.
No warranty for physical damages on CPU’s that have cracks, missing pins, burnt legs, or bent legs, etc.
No warranty for any returned items with serial #’s or sticker removed by the customer.
Customer must make sure they buy the right speed and voltage CPU.  Warranty will be VOIDED if the CPU is burned due to incorrect voltage setting.

CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY:
Customer should inspect all packages for damages and discrepancy upon receiving it.
For wrong items, missing items, and shipping damages, customer should report to RMA Dept., immediately.
